Michael Buttler (geb. 1968) wohnt mit seiner Familie im Rhein-Main-Gebiet. Hauptsächlich schreibt er phantastische Geschichten, mitunter lässt er sich aber auch auf den normalen Weltschmerz ein. Die erste Veröffentlichung konnte er 1992 im Magazin des Ersten Deutschen Fantasy Club e.V unterbringen. Mitte der Neunziger musste das Schreiben aus beruflichen und gesundheitlichen Gründen zurückstehen. Mittlerweile wurden einige seiner Kurzgeschichten in Anthologien veröffentlicht. 1999 wurde der phantastische Roman "Das Dorf" als Sondernummer des Horror-Magazins TUMOR abgedruckt.
