Mirko Saß wurde 1968 in Hamburg geboren, wohnt in einem kleinen niedersächsischen Dorf und schreibt seit zwei Jahren Kurzgeschichten mit dem Schwerpunkt Märchen. Mehrere Erzählungen wurden bereits in Anthologien veröffentlich. Außerdem belegte er im Jahr 2007 den ersten Platz beim Schreibwettbewerb der AG Märchenhaftes Bad Sooden-Allendorf.
